HGTV's 'Brother vs Brother' Season 7: And the Winner Is…

The real-estate market has spoken, and Drew Scott has won Season 7 of HGTV's "Brother vs. Brother."

Drew Scott made a net profit of $1.4 million on his Hancock Park house flip in Los Angeles, California. Twin brother Jonathan made a net profit of $1.2 million on his own flip.

Jonathan Scott actually bought, renovated and sold the house directly next door (appropriately nicknamed "The House Next Door") to his twin brother Drew and sister-in-law Linda's real home in the historic and ritzy neighborhood. Drew's project for the competition, dubbed "The Corner Chateau," was just down the street a few blocks.

Both brothers had budgeted $2 million for renovations. Jonathan went $40,000 over; Drew went $50,000 over budget.

Drew purchased his for $2.35 million and sold it for $5.8 million. Jonathan bought his house for $2.4 million and sold it for $5.64 million.

Buchwald has signed reality television contractor Eric Eremita. The contractor is most known for appearing on HGTV shows Brother Vs. Brother and Love It Or List It.

The New York native has appeared in around 70 Love It or List It episodes and is currently working on another renovation television project called Homeboys. The new project seeks to turn clients' current abodes into their dream homes.

The Love It or List It contractor contracted Covid-19 and, after two weeks on a ventilator, successfully beat the infectious disease in May.

Hgtvs 'Love It Or List It' Star Eric Eremita Talks About Beating Covid-19 – Update

Update: Eric Eremita, the popular contractor from Hgtv's Love It Or List It and Brother vs Brother, is recovering from the coronavirus and detailing for the first time what he went through in his battle against the disease.

Eremita, age 51, was in a New York hospital for three weeks, two of them on a ventilator. He tells People magazine that he had no underlying conditions, but began to develop a high fever, then spiraled down into dizziness and lost focus.

"For me, I'm a guy who does things with precision," Eremita said. "I'm a contractor, so for me, an eighth of an inch makes a difference. When I couldn't zero in on things, I knew something was wrong."

Fox is developing a single-camera comedy series inspired by the "Property Brothers" Jonathan and Drew Scott, Variety has learned.

The series is titled "It Takes Two," based on the Scott brothers' memoir of the same name. The show follows two entrepreneurial twin brothers who decide to join forces in the real estate business when they realize they are stronger together than apart. Fox has given the project a script commitment with a penalty attached.

The Scotts rose to fame with their hit TV series "Property Brothers," which is broadcast on Hgtv in the U.S. The show proved so successful that it inspired multiple spinoffs, including "Brother vs. Brother" and "Property Brothers: At Home."
